I am Ganesh Ramaswamy, somewhat of a couch potato until last year. I had never ran more than 200 feet (!!!) in my entire life, so when I first started to run, I felt crazy. But within a short time, I realized how much fun it is to be outside, enjoying the nature and sound. I ran my first half marathon last year and it will be my 3rd when I run this October.

This one I am expecting to be a lot more exciting, only because of the company I found in the form of this great group of runners from Asha for Education. I have been inspired by so many people, while at the same time was able to inspire some myself. What a feeling it is to be surrounded by these wounderful kind-hearted people.

The best part is the cause we are running to, to raise funds for Asha St Louis, the volunteer organization to support kids education in India. I look forward to continuing my running, while at the same time, partner with the fellow volunteers to raise a few dollars for the noble cause of education. I hope you will all join me and the group to achieve our milestone.
